Tidy
one key evens a loose pile

Start with one

Drag a photo anywhere on your desk.

Add a second and compare

Select two and press S. They trade places live, so you can test a pairing both ways round.

Grow it to a triptych

Adjust the spacing between your pictures. The arrange bar evens the gaps and ⇧T tidies a loose pile into a grid.

Turn your sequence into book pages

Grade it with film and paper

Select a series and press B to start a book. The photos become its pages, laid out beside them in reading order. Drag a page and the others reflow around it.

Pages hold text too. A title is set in the book, not in the photograph. Select a page and press Space to read the book full screen, spread by spread, exactly as it will print.

Bindings and cut marks

Export writes a PDF for your own printer. The pages fall onto both sides of each sheet, so the stack that comes off folds in half into the book.
